Regular project meeting was held online

New results on the development and characterization of garnet materials has been discussed at a periodical TWISMA meeting that had been held on 30 September. ISMA team concentrated on Ce,Mg cooping and Czochralski growth of YAG:Ce scintillation crystals, while ILM team experimented on cooping of GAGG:Ce crystals. GAGG-based samples were synthesized by solid state synthesis to optimize the codopant concentration. YAG:Ce and GAGG:Ce crystals were studies in CERN. In particular, a very high light yield of up to 37000 phot/MeV was registered in YAG:Ce,Mg,Ca.

Dr. Etiennette Auffray (CERN) reported the status of preparations to the TWISMA school in CERN that is planned to be proceeded 21-22 September in Geneva. The preparation of upcoming project deliverables has been discussed as well.
