The second TWISMA school was held in CERN 21-22 November 2023. The topics of lectures given by CERN administrative stuff addressed writing proposals on European projects, open access publications, intellectual property, involvement of industry into research collaboration. The lectures were provided in hybrid mode via Zoom. A total of 17 persons were present in person in Geneva, excluding numerous online attendees, mainly from ISMA. Unfortunately, not all interested ISMA researchers were able to attend Geneva in person due to complicated logistics with Ukraine.
The detailed program of the School is available below:
Attendees of School participated also on November 23 to the general meeting of the Crystal Clear collaboration. It was an opportunity for them to recognize the status of development on scintillation materials and detectors for various applications, including medical tomography.
We are grateful to Dr. Etiennette Auffray, Tania Pardo, lecturers, and other CERN stuff involved in organization of this extremely useful event, especially for early-stage researchers!
